I can't believe that in 3 short days...our little Emma will be a 1 year old!!! For some reason, this just breaks my heart! I want her to stay little forever! It was nearly 5 years ago we were pregnant with our first baby girl...that ended in devastation and we continued moving on in hopes we could add to our family. A year later we felt so incredibly blessed when we had our sweet Caleb...he too is growing up way too fast and it baffles me that he is already 4 years old. For some reason, I feel like Emma just needs to stay little...her cute little smile, giggle, pig tails, army crawl...everything about her...I want to keep the same! She is such a delight and I realize that I better get a hold of myself within 3 days because ready or not...she's going to be a toddler soon.

We have had a busy August. My parents hit their "Hump Day" this month! They are half way through their mission and I'd be lying if I didn't say how incredibly excited I am for them to be home next spring. We have stayed busy doing work for them, checking on the farm, and making sure things are taken care of.
Hay
Grain just peaking above the ground
Lino and Caleb...these two have so much fun together...Lino is showing Caleb a grasshopper.
Grain Field...Almost ready to be combined!
We always manage to have fun in the process of work. I have started running and am really enjoying it. I actually started about 3 months ago. When I broke my ankle 10 years ago I thought I'd never run again...when I had it fused 2 years ago...I KNEW I would never run again. I have proven myself wrong and am out there every morning running while the sun rises. It's awesome! I am running a 5K in two weeks...I am super excited to know that I can accomplish something like that. I don't imagine I will ever become an avid runner but it's nice to know I can get back out in the fresh air and make my body move!
Here are some other things we have been up to:
Four wheeling at Palisades!
Zip Line at Heise! This was so much fun!
Rexburg Splash Park! Emma had NO FEAR!!!
Caleb enjoying the water!
Ending the day with a merry-go-round ride
Duck Races! This was so much fun!
I am so grateful for my family and the memories we can create with each other. I love that we are close and share the same likes and desires to be outdoors! We have a lot ahead of us these next few weeks...we are in the process of moving. We are excited for the change and ready to be out in the country. The kids will love the space...and so will we!

That's all I have to say about this post. *hmmpppfff*
your family is growing so big and they are sooooo cute to. It is amazing how fast the little kiddos grow. It makes me sad that I cannot hold onto the baby in them fof longer!
