Gymnastics

Wow...what a month! I can't even begin to write on what a change bring home baby #2 has been. We have been so incredibly blessed but I had no idea my schedule was going to change quite like it has. It was a cold and rainy day a few weeks ago and Emma was only two weeks old...and cried non-stop. I was struggling...bad. I was trying to figure out how to adjust to taking care of two kids plus making sure Zane had what he needed. I was a mess! I decided that I had to get out of the house...and this is what I ended up doing...signing Caleb up for Gymnastics. It has been wonderful! He LOVES it and so do I. I love taking him and watching him grow socially. It's been great. Now that Emma is 7 weeks old, I think I am finally figuring out how to manage life with two kids...it really is a joy and blessing being a mom.

Here are a few pics of Emma. I caught her smiling one night before her bath...so cute! We blessed her when she was only 3 weeks old due to the fact that my parents were leaving on their mission and their farewell was the same day. She was tiny but I wanted them to be there and it worked well for Zane's family too.
All in all, life has been really busy. Emma has acid reflux and colic really bad. She is taking medication to try and help her. She seems to be having better days than not. It's been a rough go for the first little bit but we have managed to function off little to no sleep. As she's getting older and developing more, I notice her little body getting use to her new environment.
I can't be happier with two darling kids and a great husband. I love them so much! We truly are a blessed family.

She is so adorable!! Life with 2 just gets better and better as they get older. Have you tried gripe water for Emma?? I heard so much about it that I finally bought some for Mason a couple weeks ago, and it's helped him a lot. I found it at Smith's in the baby section.

I am so sorry Emma has colic and reflux! Grace had that, and I remember all too well how much "fun" that was. I know it doesn't seem like it some days, but it will get better. And if you need someone to come and hold her while she cries I will so you can take a break! :)
